2. Data we handle

The application does not collect personal data nor send information to external servers. The data you enter (foods, recipes, quantities, notes, goals and optional images taken with the camera or selected from your photo library) is stored locally on your device.

3. Purpose and legal basis

Since we do not collect personal data on servers, there is no processing for marketing, profiling or third-party sharing purposes. Processing performed by the app is purely on‑device to provide its features.

4. Sharing and transfers

We do not share data with third parties and do not carry out international transfers. Data remains on the user's device. The app does not use iCloud or remote synchronisation.

5. Security

We recommend protecting your device with a passcode, Touch ID or Face ID. The app's data is stored in local files managed by the operating system. If you back up your device (e.g. with iCloud or Finder), that data may be included in the backup under the provider's security measures.

6. Retention and control

Data is kept solely on your device for as long as you keep the app installed or until you delete it. You can delete the information from within the app or by uninstalling Kalories.

7. User rights

Since we do not process data on servers, rights of access, rectification or deletion are exercised directly by you on the device. If you need help exporting or deleting local data, contact us:
